These terms apply when you book a design call with, or order a ring from, Fiori Faber. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Design calls and quotes
- Design calls are free and there is no obligation to order.
- After the call we email you renders of your design and a fixed quote.
- Because gold and platinum prices move daily, quotes are valid for 14 days. After that we’ll re-quote at current metal prices.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include delivery within Australia.
Ordering and your deposit
- Your order is confirmed when you approve the final design and pay the deposit shown on your quote.
- The balance is due once your ring is finished, before we ship it. We’ll send photos first.
Made to order
Every ring is made specifically for you from your approved design by our specialist casting and setting partner, then checked by us before it’s sent. Estimated turnaround is 2 to 6 weeks from your deposit, depending on the design and stones. We’ll keep you updated if anything changes.
Changes and cancellations
- You can change the design at no cost until you approve it.
- If you cancel after approving but before production starts, we’ll refund your deposit less any costs already incurred, such as stones ordered for your design.
- Once production has started, we can’t refund the deposit for a change of mind, because the ring is made to your specifications and can’t be resold.
Your consumer guarantees
Our rings come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have the ring repaired or replaced if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure doesn’t amount to a major failure. If your ring doesn’t match your approved design and specifications, tell us and we’ll put it right.
Warranty
In addition to your consumer guarantees, we’ll repair any manufacturing fault free of charge for 12 months from delivery. This doesn’t cover normal wear, knocks, loss of stones through damage, or work done by another jeweller.
Sizing
We’ll help you find the right size, and we offer a free ring sizer. If the ring doesn’t fit, we’ll resize it once, free of charge, within 60 days of delivery, where the design allows. Some designs, such as full eternity bands and some patterned bands, can’t be resized; we’ll tell you on the call.
Delivery
We deliver insured and signature-required anywhere in Australia. Risk passes to you when the ring is delivered. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we’ll handle the claim and replace or repair your ring.
Stones and materials
We describe every stone accurately, including whether it is natural or lab-grown, and supply any grading certificate that comes with it. Metal fineness (for example 9ct, 18ct or 950 platinum) is stamped where the design allows. Natural and lab-grown stones can show small variations from renders.
Your design
You own your ring. We may reuse our own design elements in other work, but we won’t reproduce your design for anyone else, or show it publicly, without your permission.
